With great excitement and optimism, we announce that Queen City Immigration Law is partnering with the North Carolina Association of Black Lawyers, the South Carolina Black Lawyers Association, and the John S. Leary Bar Association for their Joint Conference which takes place in Charlotte, NC, September 29-30th. The joint conference between all of these organizations represents a gathering of the premier African American attorneys in the Carolinas.
During the past year, Partner Sherrod Seward, has been involved with the steering committee of this conference and is excited with the results. “It is of the utmost importance that the Carolina's legal leadership get together to fellowship and learn together,” Partner Sherrod Seward says. “The goal of this conference is to build great attorneys in North and South Carolina to build the kind of rapport that makes a difference for the community as a whole."
Queen City Immigration Law, is partnering with conference organizers to facilitate marketing and programming for the conference. Details for registration for the conference can be found at the link below.
The Honorable James A. Wynn, Jr. United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit Judge James A. Wynn, Jr. was born in Robersonville, North Carolina in the farm community of Gold Point. His father worked as a farmer and carpenter and his mother operated a sewing machine in a factory and later retired as a Nurse's Aide. His family operated a small farm on which Wynn worked during his early years. Wynn also worked during his high school years at an IGA Grocery Store in the nearby town of Williamston. Wynn holds degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (B.A., Journalism, 1975); Marquette University Law School (J.D., 1979) and University of Virginia School of Law (L.L.M., Judicial Process, 1995).
