Queen City Immigration Law Gold Sponsor of Energizing Africa through Partnerships

For Immediate Release -

With great excitement and optimism, we announce that Queen City Immigration Law is partnering with the Energizing Africa through Partnerships Conference which takes place in Charlotte, NC, October 24th-26th. The Energizing Africa through Partnerships Conference is a venue for African and U.S. energy policy officials and executives engaged in the Africa – Carolinas energy trade to learn about opportunities and develop partnerships with which to pursue a variety of African trade opportunities. Businesses and project developers in the energy sector, government officials from Sub-Saharan Africa, U.S. African project developers, federal and state trade support organizations and energy professionals will all convene together in Charlotte, North Carolina for three days  to promote energy production for Africa. Participants will gain knowledge of African energy business and project opportunities, identify potential collaborators and build important partnerships to develop African energy infrastructure.

During the past year, travel restrictions have increased and securing travel visas are now more difficult, particularly for those wishing to travel from Africa. In fact, all B-1 visa applications submitted by African business professionals for travel to a prominent California conference were denied. “It is of the utmost importance that Africa’s premier business minds obtain visitor visas for this Conference,”  Partner Sherrod Seward says. “The spirit of this conference is the face to face interaction amongst participants of all  backgrounds that leads to commerce.

Queen City Immigration Law, is partnering with conference organizers to facilitate the processing of B-1 and B-2 temporary visitor visas for the foreign attendees. A robust package for attendees to present to consular officers during their visa interviews is being prepared and will be organized for download by them via THIS PAGE. This package will include invitation and support letters from the top Carolina trade officials.

Together with assistance E4 Carolinas and Queen City Immigration Law, the conference was able to retrieve letters of support from the following organizations:

  •  North Carolina Economic Development Partnership
  • U.S. Dept of Commerce Export Assistance
  • Charlotte Regional Partnership
  • World Affairs Council of Charlotte
  • City of Charlotte, NC

David Doctor, CEO of E4 Carolinas understands that the Carolinas are poised to be the centerpiece for global energy solutions in emerging markets. The previous conferences were huge steps forward and this year will not disappoint.

““The conference brought together U.S. trade officials and Carolina and African energy project developers, providing the right opportunities to form relationships upon which partnerships to develop African energy projects are built.”

Registration for the conference is still open and the general public is welcomed to attend. Details and registration information for the conference can be found at the link below.
