Services for E-Commerce Business Owners

Rely on Our Charlotte Employment Visa Attorneys Today

E-commerce provides a premier opportunity for small to midsize business owners around the world. These foreign business owners can directly access the U.S. market by conducting business on Amazon, eBay, Alibaba, Jingdong, Rakuten, Groupon, and more. They can sell directly to American citizens and even purchase large quantities of products from suppliers located throughout the United States.

However, these entrepreneurs constantly face roadblocks, financial risks, and other business concerns due to their physical lack of presence in the United States. For example, changes in taxes and tariffs can have devastating results on e-commerce business. Also, being unable to interact with suppliers in-person can lead to a breakdown in negotiations and production issues.

At Queen City Immigration Law, we offer specialized services to help foreign e-commerce entrepreneurs form subsidiaries of their businesses in the United States. Doing Business in the United States

Queen City Immigration Law is reaching out to e-commerce business owners in order to provide information about the usefulness and effectiveness of setting up a subsidiary in the United States. Our goal is to help you eliminate many of the trade barriers that are limiting your business opportunities.

There are many benefits to establishing a subsidiary in the United States. For example:

  • You can become eligible for employment and investment-based visas
  • You can travel to meet with U.S. Suppliers and business contacts
  • You can work with companies that only do business with U.S.-based companies
  • You can sign up for a U.S. bank account to facilitate better credit arrangements with vendors
  • You can eliminate international charges
  • You can have immediate access to new products and sophisticated markets
  • You can avoid losses because U.S. suppliers are less likely to send incorrect orders to domestic buyers

Recently, we assisted two successful business owners in Canada who operate an e-commerce supply enterprise. They wanted to expand their business but were struggling to connect and build relationships with reputable American suppliers. We helped them establish a subsidiary and acquire E-2 treaty investment visas through the Canadian Consulate. This can be a very difficult process because many officials don’t understand why “internet businesses” require visas. This case was successful because we were able to explain why an E-2 treaty investment visa is essential to the company’s business model and growth potential.
